From April 3rd to April 9th, 2016, Nexvision took part in the Photonics Optics mission in South Korea, organized by the competitiveness clusters of the sector (OPTITEC, ELOPSYS, MINALOGIC, Photonics Brittany, Optical Rhône-Alpes and Opticsvalley).

For clusters, the idea of this mission was to structure a joint mission on the Korean market to allow their members:

• To discover this market (sector, actors, research, challenges, needs…) and to develop their network,
• To identify and meet future Korean partners in the sector (industries, laboratories, research institutes, clusters…),
• To tie and develop industrial and technological partnerships,
• To exchange on R&D projects with actors of innovation in Korea.

Organized in partnership with the DGE, this itinerant International Partnership Mission (Seoul, Daejon and Gwangju) was held at the same time as the PHOTONICS KOREA 2016 exhibition.

This mission fits completely with the international expansion plan followed by Nexvision, in particular in the field of the defense and security market.

Companies, laboratories and the South Korean defense development agency were particularly interested by our image processing and analysis algorithms as well as our NVS-11 project (Night vision system with EBCMOS sensor, augmented reality and data fusion) following the various presentations of NEXVISION’s innovative technologies.

Overall, a very enriching mission for NEXVISION with specific proposals for new partnerships.

The next mission will be in London from May 18th to May 21st, 2016 in collaboration with the town of Marseille, followed by the defense exhibition EUROSATORY from June 13th to June 17th, 2016 in Paris, where NEXVISION will have a booth on the collective stand of the Optitec cluster.
