High speed image processing module for industrial applications
Defense | Aerospace | Transportation
OVERVIEW
Nex [ TK1 ] is an image processing module based on the Nvidia Tegra K1 GPU.
The platform is made up of an image-processing module + a ready-to-customize carrier board.
Its general purpose consists in receiving and calculating data, and sending it for display, to a FPGA or PC.
It is possible to design a system with several simultaneous modules for certain projects needing high image processing and analysis power.
HIGHLIGHTS
More complete than the Jetson TK1 with its 4 PCIe ports allowing to have a very hight transfert level between a FPGA (Xilinx ultrascale, Artix…) and the Tegra K1 GPU. (The PCIe link is the image transfert link by DMA from a FPGA board which integrates multiple interface types directly with image sensors as well as digital video communication standards [cameralink, CoaxPress, SDI, etc.] along with those available : ethernet, USB3, MIPI-CSI.)
HDMI 1.4b – DSI with display
